Contacts, companies and how they connect
Every contact belongs to a company, and every company has a status.
Companies are the accounts you sell to; contacts are the people at them. Linking the two means a company page can show everyone you talk to there, together with deals and meetings.
- Company status is Active, Prospect or Churned, and filters the Companies table.
- Contact status is Customer, Lead or Partner.
- Tags such as VIP or Billing help you slice the Contacts list quickly.
