Test-run a workflow before you turn it on
Step through an automation safely and see what each step would do.
A workflow is a trigger followed by steps: conditions, delays and actions. For example, New lead follow-up sends an intro email, waits two days, checks for a reply and creates a task if there was none.
- Open a workflow from the Workflows page.
- Choose Test run. Each step lights up in order and reports what it would do.
- Nothing is actually sent during a test, so it is safe to run as often as you like.
- When you are happy, switch the workflow on with its toggle.
